In December, the Kellogg-DFW club held its annual meeting, featuring a keynote address by Gloria Guevara EMP-75, the minister of tourism for Mexico. It was a great event and Gloria's presentation and overall strategy for driving growth in Mexico's tourism industry would make any Kellogg marketing professor proud!

In January, Kellogg alumni joined the Northwestern University club for a panel discussion with experts from The Dallas Morning News on the state of politics in Dallas and across the country following the elections. The quality of the participants and panel were both fantastic. This continues a series of great collaborations with The Dallas Morning News.

On Feb. 22, we held our sixth annual Dallas/Fort Worth Career Symposium and many from the club felt it was our best one yet. The event was jam-packed with incredible speakers and topics, including a recruiter panel, starting a company, career coaching, franchise ownership, online networking and mentorship. The keynote speaker for the event was Alywin Lewis, CEO of Potbelly Sandwich Works and former CEO of Sears. Lewis brought a great message of humility and servant leadership in the face of his incredible career achievements. The event was a huge success with more than 160 attendees (and survey results indicate that 98 percent of attendees will return next year). The club is proud to have once again hosted one of the most valuable career events in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
