Madhuri Patel was promoted to the role of global director of internal audit at Mars Inc. after serving as North America internal audit director at Wrigley. In her new role, Madhuri is charged with improving the governance, risk management and internal control processes across all segments of the company. She also serves as a member of the Mars global finance leadership team, which is responsible for developing the global strategy and senior talent pipeline for the finance organization. Madhuri relocated from Chicago to Washington, D.C. in the spring for her new position.

Vivek Thakkar and his wife Reshma welcomed twin boys Jai and Dev on Dec. 26. Jai was born at 11:17 a.m., weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces, followed by Jai at 11:18 a.m., weighing 5 pounds, 10 ounces.
