EMP-24

On behalf of all of the EMP-24 classmates, we would like to extend our congratulations to Erica Kantor and Professor Art Raviv, both who were appointed to newly created leadership roles by Dean Sally Blount. We all have wonderful memories of these two superb individuals and are thrilled to know they will continue to be part of Kellogg's excellence. For those who missed it, here is an excerpt from the Feb. 14 announcement from Dean Blount:

"After 21 years of service, Julie Cisek Jones, assistant dean and director of our executive MBA programs, has decided to step down. The entire Kellogg community is grateful for Julie's many years of service and her longstanding commitment to Kellogg. I know that many of you had the opportunity to know and work with Julie directly during your years in the program. Please join me in thanking Julie and wishing her all the best in her future endeavors.

"Erica Kantor will take on the newly-created role of assistant dean: EMBA and executive education operations. In this role she will oversee operations in both our executive MBA and executive education. Erica brings deep knowledge and experience across both arenas, having worked in the EMBA program for more than 15 years (EMP15 - EMP58) and in executive education for the last 8 years. Additionally, Erica has longstanding relationships within Kellogg, the university and among our global partners. I am confident that, under Erica's leadership, our operations in these two units will achieve new levels of excellence over the years to come. Additionally, finance professor Art Raviv has agreed to serve in a newly created role as faculty director of our executive MBA programs. In this role, he will oversee all academic programming including curriculum, faculty staffing assignments and excellence in teaching.

"I am confident that these new appointments will ensure that Kellogg pursues a path to excellence in all that we do in the years to come. I want to thank both Erica and Art for taking on these important roles and look forward to their leadership in these areas."
