EMP-20
Gene Quinn is keeping active for more than 10 years as chairman emeritus, director and member of the Henry's Fork Foundation, a grassroots watershed conservation organization in Ashton, Idaho. The foundation is a nonprofit, research-based advocate for the Henry's Fork of the Snake River in southeastern Idaho, just south of Yellowstone National Park.
Gene adds: "In 2009, my wife, Susan, and I co-produced a documentary on HFF's 25th anniversary with our son Andrew, who shot and edited the film. I first fished the Henry's Fork on a family trip in 1989, the summer between our two EMP terms. The place grabbed us at hello, and ever since then, it has been an inspiring source of Susan's best photography and a destination for my mediocre fly-casting. Hope you all are dug in helping something that needs watching over. "
