Daniel Mello and Brazilian alumni from the '07, '08, and '12 classes celebrated the end of 2010 by visiting Daniel's farm located between Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro to celebrate.
Jeremy Hunnewell is excited that his strategy consulting firm Elstrott, Maurer & Hunnewell (emhstrategy.com), which specializes in Gulf Coast businesses experiencing periods of profound change, has celebrated its first anniversary. He's also happy to report EMH Strategy is taking part in the entrepreneurial revival of New Orleans through their management of the New Orleans Startup Fund (neworleansstartupfund.org). Juan Carlos Guillermety married Davina Aryeh on Nov. 27 in Costa Rica.
Enrique Franco B. and Claudia Alejos were married in September in beautiful Antigua Guatemala. They celebrated their union with family and many Kellogg friends. Included were: Gerardo Guerra, Sarah Montgomery, Amy Gonzalez, Lisa Schwieterman, Alejandra Olivares , Deepak Rangaswami, Lucia Escobar '95, Edwin Escobar '95, Guillermo Castillo '95 and Fernando Franco '94. The couple lives in Mexico City.
Kevin Skunda moved from the New York City area and took a position with Capital One in Richmond, Va., as a senior manager in the bank operations division. Kevin and his wife are now closer to their families in Virginia, and Kevin is enjoying the job at Capital One.
Meg Sutula and Cullen Ruegemer were married Dec. 18 in Evanston where over 20 Kellogg alumni joined them at the wintry celebration. Everyone appeared to have a great time, despite the cold, and recruiting memories evoked by the Woman's Club. The wedding was followed by a honeymoon in Argentina and a move from Chicago to San Francisco, where the couple is working in Silicon Valley.
David Torres was married May 21, 2010 in Monterrey, Mexico.
Elizabeth Gipson married Clayton Henry, attorney and rancher, on Oct. 16. A small group of Kellogg friends came to Texas to help to celebrate, and of course, to sing a little Journey. Clayton and Elizabeth have moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, which is near the family's working cattle ranch.
Molly and James Haunty welcomed son John (Jack) Roland Haunty on Oct. 5. Jack was born 9 pounds, 3 ounces and 21.5 inches tall.
Kellogg 2008 alums and friends celebrated the New Year in Lake Tahoe. The area has experienced record snowfall this season, which resulted in a long weekend of great skiing, sore legs, and happy memories. Included in the trip were: Jake Brauner, Kei Noguchi, Amit Bakshi, Michael Feldman, Leah Ralph, Stephanie Chang, Peter Tsai and Joel Mendel.
Several Kellogg alums, JVs and their families met at Adrienne and Mark Murrill's new home in Oak Park, Ill., when New Yorkers Kristy and George Kyriakopoulos (and daughter Melina) visited Chicago in November. Maureen and Chris Brusznicki (with kids Evelyn and Mack), Anne Levy Brown (with son Ben), and Missy and Rick Perez also joined in on the fun.
Kevin and Alison Lemire were thrilled to welcome their son John "Jack" Charles Lemire to the world on Jan. 22. He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. Jack has already had a chance to meet some Kellogg friends, including Laura Bronner '06, Kristin Guilbault, Brannan Schell '07, Dave Moore and Sara Kaplan Moore. Jack is looking forward to meeting more Kellogg alumni in the coming months!
