Chad Harding ’04 sends in a shot of his expanding family — Chad, Jackson (left), Kaitlyn (middle), Spencer (right), and wife Angie. He notes that it’s “impossible to get a picture where all of us are smiling!” We think it’s a picture-perfect family, regardless.

Ah, Paris in the spring! Or, actually, winter. And a wet one at that. JC Mountainbear ’04 takes in the iconic Eiffel under cover

2004

In November, Mexican alums gathered for a weekend in Parras at Brandon Milmo´s winery (Casa Madero, the oldest vineyard in America). Included in the trip were: Gabriel Mizrahi '05, Alejandro Capote '05, Carlos Orozco, Darío Benavides '05, Jorge Martínez '03, Miguel Ramírez, Brandon Milmo, Jorge Herrera and Román Uribe.

Michael Sheehan and wife Mara welcomed their third child, Maximilian, on Jan. 26. Maximilian joins older siblings Karoline and Nicholas to keep Mike and Mara on their toes up in Cleveland.

From across the ocean, Serge Raffard writes, "I'm bad with photos, but Anne and I have just moved to Hong Kong with our three kids. We greet the entire class." Christy and Matt Murray can't access Facebook in Shanghai, but via old-school communication channels (i.e., Gmail) they can attest to the fact that Xavier Matthew Murray was indeed born in December. A hop, skip and a jump away, Althea Parker sends news of her growing family. Their fourth child was welcomed on Jan.13. She writes, "Big brothers Miles (5) and Cole (2) and big sister Kennedy (3) are adoring fans of Quinn Xavier Parker. We are still living in and loving life in Singapore."

Jonathan Friedman and wife Diane survived a strenuous San Diego winter, averaging 70 degrees daily.

With 15 Kellogg students running loose in Buenos Aires on an exchange program, Argentina-based alums just had to see how the young ones (Class of 2011!) were faring. Juan Pablo Rossi and Maren Lau offered up their grill, and an impressive 14 alums — including Mario Dominguez, Hernan Grimoldi and Santiago Farcuh — turned up to give alumni advice and travel tips, and get the inside scoop on classes, KWEST (the latest evolution of KOA), and the new dean. The Kellogg spirit flamed strong and the color purple flowed all night (mostly in the form of Argentine malbec wine).

Tanvi (Patel) Gokhale and husband Rahul had baby daughter Annika Gokhale on Jan. 14. Tanvi says, "We are enjoying her immensely, she is a lovely little girl! She weighed in at 6 pounds, 4 ounces."

J.C. Mountainbear — in his own words — continues to bleed purple. The past few months alone have seen him participating in the Kellogg IMPACT series in Chicago with Abbott CEO Miles D. White, an admissions reception, the Kellogg Risk Summit, and "in my most treasured role, I am now a mentor to a first-year student." Hooray for such dedicated involvement and for the adulation of first years!
