2003 — Part-Time

Kent Smith was promoted to chief financial officer at Amble Resorts, an international developer of resort communities.

Steve Wooledge has been taking advantage of his proximity to Lake Tahoe with multiple ski trips. His oldest sons, Justin (6) and Brandon (4), are gaining confidence and are able to make turns down some pretty big green runs! All Wooledges report having fun.

Christina Konieczka is the U.S. college recruiting manager for Mercer. She is currently serving in an interim role as the HR business partner for Mercer's U.S. investments business. She is also starting a Daisy Girl Scout troop in her hometown of Downers Grove, Ill., where she resides with her husband and two children.

Shira (Wachtel) Epstein and her husband Dan moved to Champaign, Ill., in January to become the third-generation owners of the outdoor retail business Shira's grandfather started in 1947. They had a successful first year at the helm of the brick-and-mortar store and also launched a new companion ecommerce business (champaignsurplus.com). Shira also continues to operate her graphic design business, Trillium Creative. They became the proud parents of son Jacob Leo Epstein on Jan. 17. Shira can be reached at shira@champaignsurplus.com.
