We hope everyone survived the winter and is ready for spring. Here's what some of your fellow classmates have been up to:
Shawn Wishmeier writes: "My family and I have moved from Indianapolis, Ind., to Raleigh, N.C. Last year, I accepted a role as chief investment officer for the North Carolina Retirement Systems in June. Collectively, we manage approximately $85 billion in pension assets. We are happy to catch up with anyone that finds themselves in 'our neck of the woods.'"
Carter Balkom's big news is that he has moved in January from Washington, D.C. to Munich, Germany, for a few years. He accepted a job transfer to the Audi AG headquarters in Germany as product planning manager for the Americas.
Jeff Zach tells us: "On July 7, we added child No. 3! Madeline joins Dorothy (4) and Oliver (2) in our ever-expanding household. I've finally recovered enough to broadcast the good news to Kellogg. Both sister and brother have been wonderful helpers in caring for their new playmate. Best wishes to everyone at Kellogg for the New Year!"
After two years in the infrared sauna business , Rob Persaud joined American Italian Pasta Company as senior director of marketing, in charge of all consumer and customer brands. If you've eaten pasta in the U.S., chances are that you've bought AIPC without knowing it. He continues to reside in Kansas City with his wife Alison and children Harlowe (4) and Finn (2.5). Rob is actively angling for a trip to Italy to visit his company's Pasta Lensi factory. Rob would love to have any visitors that find themselves in Kansas City.
Jeff Wood was promoted to vice president, product strategy and planning at MedAssets, a software and service provider to hospitals. Jeff writes, "Now all I have to do is figure out where healthcare is going to be in five years!"
Jon Neuhaus reports: "I had the pleasure of spending time with Dan and Brigitte Nettesheim at the Super Bowl. Go Pack Go!"
Robyn (Kestenbaum) Safran and Corey Safran welcomed Jack Noah Safran on Oct. 12. The happy family lives in Princeton, New Jersey, where Robyn works as a product manager on the Trojan brand at Church & Dwight (cue the condom jokes with a birth announcement!).
Marlisa Kopenski was promoted to brand director and made associate principal at Kahler Slater, an interdisciplinary design firm based in Milwaukee, Wis. In the last year, she has talked shop with classmates Lisa Jackson of frog design and Holly Kretchmar of IDEO over drinks and dinner. She lives in Madison with her husband and two daughters.
Adriana McGrath Clancy is thrilled to announce the arrival of Ella Florence Clancy, born on Oct. 30.out there in CA
Beata (Drizin) Kirr writes: "Brandon Matthew Kirr arrived a few weeks early on Dec. 9. He was 7 pounds, 2 ounces and 20 inches long. Big Sister Samantha has been a great helper and we are all getting used to our new sleep-deprived routine. We had not realized how good we had it when we had just one crazy toddler!"
