The Part-Time Class of 1993 is seeking new leadership. Interested? Please contact kworld@kellogg.northwestern.edu. You may also send your news updates to that address.

Part-Time Class Representative Mike Nardini '92 sends in this update: Periodically, I get the chance to talk with my classmate Joe McKeska. Joe is the vice president of real estate and store development with the national grocery chain, Supervalu Inc. (Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw's, Acme, Cub Foods, etc.), based in Minneapolis.

Joe oversees real estate, project management and construction activities for Supervalu in the western half of the country, and he still resides in the Chicago area (Woodridge). For those of you living in Chicago, the new Jewel-Osco store at Kinzie and DesPlaines that Joe's team worked on is tremendous.

Joe and I were in school together when he was a real estate manager for Taco Bell Corporation. Since school, Joe has continued to advance his career in corporate real estate, the last 15 years of which have been in the grocery business moving from American Stores Inc., Albertsons Inc. to Supervalu. He has been in an executive position for the last several years and also helped pioneer urban grocery concepts in Chicago and other cities.
