1991
We are sad to report the recent passing of our classmate Bill Swanson on Nov. 23 in North Palm Beach, Fla., after a yearlong bout with brain cancer. An academic award recipient at our Kellogg graduation, Bill worked before and after Kellogg at Nuveen Investments in Chicago, where his intellect and problem-solving skills led him to the top management team. In recent years, Bill relocated to Florida but continued to consult with financial firms in Chicago and in Colorado. Surviving Bill are his wife France Vigneault and four children: Jonathan, Alexina, Katherine and Elizabeth; his mother Dorothy Swanson; siblings Steve (wife Kathy Gebhardt), Kim, Ann (husband Jim Keenan) and Tom; and many, many friends. Classmates Mike Pogue, Bob Votel, Chris Ramsden and Allan Jones attended his memorial service on Dec. 18 in North Palm Beach.
