KACC's
most popular annual event, "Who Won the Super Bowl of
Commercials?", was a winner again this year! Clinical
Associate Professor of Marketing Tim Calkins moderated a multimedia,
interactive discussion of who won and lost the battle of the
Super Bowl commercials and why. More than 60 alums participated
in the discussion on the most highly sought-after advertising
time on television, and Professor Calkins provided insights
into which company's strategies worked well and which worked
not so well. The discussion was fun, funny and enlightening
and provided great background for those who develop advertising
strategy or just like to watch the commercials for entertainment.
