Laurie (Curry) Copithorne and husband Peter are proud to announce the arrival of baby Madelyn Violet Copithorne. Madelyn was born on Dec. 23, weighing 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring 19.75 inches at birth. Laurie and Peter will live in Halifax for the next five years until Peter completes his orthopedic surgery residency.

Manish Ajmani has moved to Babcock & Wilcox Co. as global manager of the nuclear equipment projects group. He departed from the automotive industry after spending 18 years in various capacities at different organizations. He served as engineering manager at his last job with ABB Inc.
