Mike Archey reports that he's still with GE Railcar. He runs their coal segment, and business has been good over past few years. He still lives in Aurora with his wife, Elaine, and their three kids, and they're having a blast watching them grow.

Mike Casady says he's still plugging away with the Hummel Group, doing mixed-use development projects in Libertyville, Barrington, Palatine, Woodstock and Crystal Lake. His family is well, and the biggest changes for him since graduation have been the births of his children, Mikey and Kelly!

Chander Chawla reports that he ran and finished the Chicago Marathon this past October. It was his seventh Chicago Marathon, and ninth marathon overall. Congrats to Chander! He also reports that he's busy doing M&A work for Desotech, and has been doing personal travel with his wife, Uma, to Orlando, Fla., Maui and India.

Jim Cohick also completed the Chicago Marathon. It was his fifth marathon. Congrats to Jim! He also reports that he's recently completed his freshman year at the Shriner's Hospitals for Children in Chicago as hospital administrator. Jim says it is challenging and rewarding work with great people, a great 80-year heritage and a great mission.

I, Sharon Folliard, am getting settled into my new marriage and going through some changes at work. My employer, Johnsonite, has been acquired twice in the past 12 months. Johnsonite produces and markets flooring for commercial segments. First we were acquired by Tarkett, which is the world's largest producer of resilient flooring. Recently, KKR has come into the picture with an equity stake in Tarkett. My role has broadened, and I spent much of 2007 in Tarkett plants overseas, leading development of products suitable for the tastes of our North American commercial architects, interior designers and building facility managers.

I've also been leading strategic planning for the Color Marketing Group, the world's premier association for the design and marketing of color. You may have seen CMG mentioned recently on NBC's "Today Show," on the CBS's "Sunday Morning," or featured in the New Yorker. Our tagline: "Color sells, and the right color sells better!"

Susan Forsell is now vice president of quality systems in supply chain management for McDonald's USA. She is responsible for leading the development and implementation of McDonald's quality assurance and food safety policies and practices. She is also responsible for managing the McDonald's sensory quality center. Prior to her current role, she played a key role in maintaining McDonald's world-class quality standards across McDonald's U.S. system as senior director of U.S. quality systems.

Susan belongs to the McDonald's Women's Leadership Network, the Women's Food Service Forum and the Junior Achievement Volunteer Program, and is a volunteer for the Lazarus House Homeless Shelter in St. Charles, Ill.

Roy Hillier has accepted an equity position at Equity Excel, a new company focused on personal financial training.

Tim Koers has accepted a new position. We're waiting to hear details.

Manuel Laborde has resigned from Loders and will now lead his own distribution company focused on coffee. More details to follow.

Jeff Nixon reports all is well with him. He's been busy with new product roll-outs, business travel to China — and he married wife Nikki in Cabo San Lucas on April 14. The couple spent their honeymoon there, too. He reports that the weather was perfect and everyone had a great time. Jeff and Nikki followed up their Cabo wedding with a big party in Vegas for all of those who couldn't make it to Cabo. They now live in Wheeling, but will be moving to the Northbrook/Glenview area soon. Congrats to Jeff on his marriage!

Wayne Sottile says he's doing pretty well. He was in Maui the week before Christmas. He used Chander's timeshare there and had a great time! He enjoyed the historical perspective of a day trip to Oahu to see the USS Arizona Memorial.
