OK, admittedly, we did get some updates for the last Kellogg World and we just failed to get them out on time. Life just got in the way. Sorry. So, here are the updates that were previously submitted. Our apologies if they feel outdated.

Jim Gaffney shares that he landed with Accretive Health and has become director of revenue cycle.

EJ Dougherty writes that the Penguins will reunite. He and Mike Neville, Dee Kyser, Wayne Rothschild and Drew are getting together in November.

Received a quick note from Walt Gregory sharing that he is living in the Atlanta area and loving being in warm weather.

John O'Connor did not make Jane Karpinski's garden walk party and still feels badly about it. He admitted to Sarita via text message that he is indeed a loser, although he reportedly did enjoy the late night ham sandwich and glass of milk.

I saw Matt Klien walking down the street and honked my horn, but I don't think he knew who I was, so I kept driving.

I had drinks with Kevin "Itchy" Ichipurani and Brigid Mattingly on a recent Sunday afternoon. Kevin lives in San Francisco, but was in town on biz for a few days. He wanted to use the boat one day, but Š. (I thought I would save Brigid and Kevin from the rest to protect the not-so-innocent).

Keith Blair has been transferred to El Paso, Texas, taking the CFO job at Bordercomm/XC Networks, one of the largest wireless/fiber carriers between Mexico and the United States.

Michael Jeanfreau is living in Portland and working for Bank of the West as a financial consultant.

Doug Yakola writes that he is "still working hard at ATA. We have emerged successfully from bankruptcy and are concentrating on our recent expansion in the West Coast to the Hawaii market. I'm currently putting a lot of effort into rationalizing the necessity of having a Maui-based financial office, for, uh, managing offshore accounts— yeah, that's it! Carrie (Wismer) continues to work in New York City a few days a week, where she probably sees more of Steph Ruyle than we do! We have been too busy for lots of pleasure travel, which is never a good thing; but we did manage to get to the Kentucky Derby this year. We just need to work a bit more on the hats.

So, that was last quarter. This quarter, you have all been just as busy.

My personal favorite SMS message was from Scott Kell: "I was whacked." Though Scott was on the cover and in a center spread for Telephony magazine representing the leadership team of his past employer, the entrepreneurial bug has bit and Scott is working on a number of different projects. His wife and kids are doing well and have moved back into their newly renovated home.

Reggie Walker was in town for an early night with Scott Kell and myself. We went from bar to bar talking about how we were going to do something or the other. Honestly, I just don't remember anything more than sending Reggie off at 1:00 a.m. Though he might be "class president," he still doesn't get that when you tell Kell and me you want an "early" night, we think you mean early morning. Reggie is doing well and is learning to enjoy more. He is off to March Madness and let's see if he shows up for the NYC trip. If only I could get him to do one of these write-ups.

I hear that Roland Wikstrom had baby No. 2 (congratulations to him, Yvonne and big brother Tej) — details? Andy Cherna, where are you? No drive-by calls this quarter. Scott Kell had drinks with Steve Douglas. Bill O'Connell is doing very well, looks amazing and is still a charmer. Bill ran into Natalie Laackman and Wayne Rothschild. I had breakfast with Rochelle Michalek and Cynthia Downes — both are doing well and promised an update for the next quarter.

I have had some changes in my life as well. I was appointed vice president of client engagement for IBM MOW. Basically, the long title means that I manage the relationship between AT&T and IBM outside of the United States. So far it has been challenging and I will no doubt make United's 1K program this year. The kitchen business is thriving; our projects division is in high gear. We start delivering our cabinets for Trump Towers in a few short weeks and have 11 other luxury buildings we are working on throughout the city. Also, last July, I opened a pizza place called Pronto Za on the corner of Halsted and Division. We've been getting great reviews and going through the normal growing pains of a new business. We deliver throughout the city and are known for our creative pizzas. It's a hard and exhausting business — a lot tougher then I thought it would be!

Don't forget to register and attend the reunion in May. Also, please send us updates whenever you have a moment. Don't wait for a request from Reggie or me. We can collect them whenever you have a moment to send us one.
