Ryann
(Plinska) Greve married Kevin Greve in Maui on Nov. 22.
She writes: "We were joined by immediate family in person
and other family and friends (Kelloggians included) in spirit.
We married in bare feet on a private cove beach and managed
to beat the rain (a sign of good luck!) until after we said
'I do.' Implementing the change management skills I learned
at Kellogg, I directed the wedding party to switch to a sunnier
beach for more photos. The celebration culminated in a lovely
brunch at the Wailea Golf Club, where I resisted the temptation
to shoot a round in my wedding dress. On our honeymoon, we
bodysurfed, snorkeled, kayaked, surfed, hiked, luau'd, volcano'd,
paid $6 for a gallon of milk and forgot about the rest of
the world for a couple of weeks. We were greeted by Milwaukee
with a 63-degree temperature drop and a foot of snow, which
was just sick and wrong. I am back to work marketing motorcycles
for Harley-Davidson, and Kevin's patients are happy to have
their favorite physical therapist home. As they say in Hawaii,
aloha and mahalo for everyone's well wishes!"
Inna
Drut married last
March. She's still at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association doing
Internet project management.
Christine
(Schneider) Arylo is a one-on-one life coach for women.
Her book, Choosing ME Before WE, will be out this spring.
She also started a small executive and corporate communications
company called NovaStoria with a friend in Chicago. The company
helps leaders inspire people inside their organization to
action with communications vs. killing them with PowerPoint
or trying to "sell them" into something.
Brian
Gallagher is making progress on his "demand response"
energy management business in Chicago, and he appreciates
the ability to develop leads through the Kellogg network.
His son is a junior studying molecular biology at Illinois,
and attended the recent Kellogg biotech conference to network
for a summer research position. His daughter is a freshman
at Indiana studying international relations, and was selected
to be the Friday cartoonist for the daily paper.
Erika
Gimbel started a new job with Hyde Park Group, a marketing
and advertising firm started by another Kellogg alum, Mary
Haderlein '82. Erika has two girls, Sylvie (3) and Maxine
(1).
Lee
Kotler recorded the best year — just over $30 million
— in commercial and residential sales for a first-year
associate in Arthur Goldner & Associates' 30-year history.
Vicki,
Justin and Steve Wooledge welcomed Brandon James
Wooledge into the world on Sept. 29. Steve continues to work
at Business Objects as a director of product marketing for
business intelligence software.
Judith
Chaisiri submitted this update from The Big Apple: "I've
moved to New York and can often be found partying at the latest
PaperDoll gig. By day, I'm playing with plastic. If you have
an opinion on corporate cards, you know where to find me."
Thanks
for the updates. As you go through these or other life experiences,
keep your classmates up to date by forwarding me your news
