After five years in the United States Navy and working as a project manager at Charles Schwab, Ky Vu chose to look for a more meaningful career and decided to give back to public education. Vu made a transition by joining the Broad Residency, a two-year management training program for emerging executives seeking a life as a leader in education. As a leader, he is applying the skills he learned from this intensive training to help make a difference in the learning experience of students. Ky says: "There are so many extremely dedicated people in our schools. Our role in the central office is to provide the systems and structures they need to succeed."

Dan Kuzmic was recently promoted to partner at Bain & Co. in New York. Previously, he had worked in the company's offices in Chicago, Boston and Amsterdam. He has been with the company since 1999.
