1999 — Full-Time

Celebrations and reunions mean great Kellogg news for the Class of '99.

Shira Levine married Dan Halperin (from Perth, Australia) in San Francisco on May 28. Dan and Shira met at the New Orleans Jazz Festival in 2004. Her brother introduced them. Their wedding was a total blast, with family and friends from Atlanta and Australia getting down together on the dance floor to both a klezmer and a funk band.

Steve Williams married Kara Schroeppel on Nov. 11 in Napa Valley, Calif. Steve lives in Minneapolis and works for the video game publisher Activision as a global brand manager.

Many quality Kellogg party animals came to help them celebrate: Abbie (Willing) Leon; Marybeth (Moser) Murphy and her husband Mike; Daniella Lobo; Guy Raviv; Shimon Korish; and Karyn (Wachtell) Huberman and her husband David.

Shira also left eBay after seven years and joined a new person-to-person lending platform called Prosper. As community marketing director, her job is to help communities of borrowers and lenders find each other.

Out west, Bill Dillard, Steve Coburn, and Will Price recently met up in Aspen, Colo., with their spouses and their combined eight — yes, eight! — kids, aged 6 and under.

They had a great week hiking, fishing and reconnecting after several years. Bill is still with Dillard's, Steve is with Wachovia and Will works for Hummer Winblad Venture Partners.

Lisa and Peter Jarman married on Oct. 7 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple and held the celebration later that day at the Empire Lodge at Deer Valley in Park City, Utah. Lisa and Peter met in 1992, when they were both students at the University of Utah. Their paths crossed again in 2004, when Peter moved back to Salt Lake City after spending the previous five years in Boston and San Francisco. Lisa's two daughters, Isabelle (5) and Hanah (3), have been a wonderful addition to Peter's life as well. His 180-pound Newfoundland, Noah, is happy to have the extra playmates. Peter also extends this invitation to us all: "If anyone is passing through Utah for a ski trip or otherwise, please feel free to look me up. I'd like to meet up and hear what is going on in your lives."
