1995 — Part-Time

Richard Rodes continues as a managing director at PPM Finance Inc. in Chicago, where he runs the northeast region commercial real estate mortgage loan production. He lives in east Ukrainian Village and travels a lot for both work and pleasure.

Julie Sampson lives with her husband and daughter in Glenview, Ill. In addition to working as a financial consultant for Resources Global Professionals, she is also teaching several classes — including managerial and financial accounting — at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and recently completed a contract role as quality project manager for two online courses with NetG. As if that is not enough to keep her busy, last year she and her husband started a company, Sampson Solutions Inc., which offers solutions to small business and home computer users. She also created a sole proprietorship to do accounting work for small businesses. Sounds like the trip to Niagara Falls and Toronto in August was probably not only a fun family vacation, but a well-deserved break from an industrious schedule.

In August, Sean Stack was appointed executive vice president and president of Aleris Europe, moving with the job and relocating the entire family to Zurich in October.

Andy Williams left Saint-Gobain Crystals in August, relocating from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, to Glastonbury, Conn., with his wife, Lisa, and children Connor (12), Claire (6) and Caron (4), to join Canberra as vice president of operations. Canberra makes radiation detection equipment and systems used in homeland security, the military and nuclear power plants. His new position has eight operations in five countries in North America and Europe and is expanding in Asia. As a result of the new job, Andy has been traveling a lot and enjoy running into Kellogg alums in many places.
