Pam Carey was appointed board president of PAWS Chicago in June. PAWS Chicago is the city's largest no-kill humane organization. It has saved thousands of homeless animals through its free and low-cost spay/neuter clinic, innovative adoption program and targeted community outreach/humane education program.
