1987 — Full-Time

Jim Riesterer has been named the vice president of marketing at Smead Manufacturing Co. in Hastings, Minn. The company specializes in office filing products and records management systems.

The time has come for our 20th Reunion. I know most you are thinking there are much more important, fun or pressing things to attend to on May 4 through 6. I've heard all the justifications for the drop-off in letters and e-mail over the years: "B-school was a means to an end," "B-school wasn't like college or high school — not nearly the same emotional involvement."

I understand, but consider this: We've all grown older and wiser, and most of us have by now come to realize the importance of personal relationships and shared experiences in life. The 20th Reunion in May gives you a very special opportunity to hang out with some very cool, fun and interesting people who have been through a lot of the same things you've been through these past two decades. There are a bunch of us who have been working together to make this a really great event. If you are still in touch with any of these folks, give them a call or drop them a line to hear about the weekend firsthand: Rick Aaronson, Steve Bonebrake, Mike Hollings, Melody Jeffrey, Rab Ker, Kathy Wah Lee, Rich Mandel, Vic O'Brien, Britta Keehn Scott, Glenn Sykes, Blair Landau Trippe and Lexi Van de Walle-Owsley.

Get your calendar out now and block out May 4-6. Six months from now, six years from now, you will look back on it and be very happy that you went to your 20th reunion. You only get one chance to do some really special things in life. Don't let this slip by unnoticed.
