Robert
Claunch of
South Elgin, Ill., graduated from the Chicago campus after
his service in World War II. He subsequently had a varied
work career, including working for the State of Illinois and
the St. Charles, Ill. school system and in market research.
Arthur
Clauter of Geneva, Ill., earned his degree at the Chicago
campus. He worked as a vice president for the Wrigley Co.
in Chicago. He and his wife, Hazel, a University of Chicago
graduate, have a family of three children.
Joseph
Craw of Chicago, also a graduate of the Chicago campus, had a long career
with Arthur Andersen & Company, where he became a manager.
Henry
Ebner of Oak Lawn, Ill., earned a law degree from Northwestern in 1952. He became
a tax attorney, first with the IRS and then with the Beatrice
Cos.
Norman
Flanders of Northbrook, Ill., formed his own insurance
business in Skokie after graduating from the Chicago campus.
He has enjoyed many trips to Europe and Japan, but now travels
mainly to see his children in Philadelphia and Indianapolis.
Robert
Deecken of Chicago passed away on March 28, 2006.
Retired
financial planner Ray Morton Wiese '49 died Sept. 22
after a long battle with lung cancer.
