Carl Dalhlgren has relocated his company from Skokie to a
75,000-square-foot
facility in Summit. His company offers direct mail marketing and fulfillment.
He also recently became engaged to MaryEllen Hughes, and is planning a September
wedding in the Philadelphia area. Congratulations to Carl.
Ross Ampel is
now working for an East Coast-based paper distribution
company trying to break into the Chicago market ─ basically a start-up operation. He moved
back with family to Evanston and all are thrilled to have returned. He says: “Memphis turned out to be a pretty cool place and we will miss it,
but how can you beat subzero temperatures and shoveling
on a daily basis? The only concern my daughter had in moving
was that she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to ride
horses (she’s addicted now) in Chicago because she didn’t think horses lived anywhere but Memphis. Needless to say, she is horseback riding twice a week.
Contact Ross at Lindenmeyr Munroe, where he is general
sales manager, 630.250.7500.
Brian Litman welcomed a new daughter, Chloe Elizabeth, on Oct. 27.
Carol Deely gave
birth to Maeve Christine on Oct. 24. Congratulations to
the Deely family.
Due to editorial error, the
following notes were inadvertently omitted from the winter
2003 issue of Kellogg World magazine.
On June 28, EMP-49 celebrated
its first annual picnic. The weather turned out to be beautiful.
Kids and parents participated in soccer, baseball and water
balloon-tossing games. It was a blend of children from
a few months old to teenagers who turned out for the event.
It was nice to see the future Kellogg MBA children. All
in all, it was a successful picnic, and I hope more EMP-49
alumni will join in the future.
Nabil Shabshab has started an EMP-49 ethnic lunch club. He organizes monthly
lunches that explore a variety of cuisines from around
the world. All EMP-49 alums are invited to join the club.
Todd Lipschutz was recently promoted to division president for Pulte Homes
in Kansas
City. He is very excited with the recent promotion, as there
is tremendous opportunity to grow the business and strengthen
the company’s position as the leading home builder
in the Kansas City market. The Lipschutz family reports they are truly enjoying
the Kansas
City hospitality, where it seems their quality of life has increased
dramatically.
Bradley Trotter has moved to Milwaukee with GE Medical Group.
George West has
moved to Boston with Siemens and is enjoying it immensely. |
