EMP-40

Sue Schauwecker is becoming a real estate mogul. She now has a rental property in North Carolina, which puts her up to four properties. It’s in a place called Kure Beach, which is in the Cape Fear area, just south of Wilmington, N.C. It rents by the week, mostly between spring break and Labor Day. Anyone interested? Sue uses it in the winter months. It’s an oceanfront townhome (condo), right down the beach from a Civil War site called Fort Fisher and a state park. The beach and sand dunes are her front yard. You can watch the sunrise on the ocean from one deck and schools of dolphins swimming by from the other. You go, girl.

Rich Daly, we all wish you well and pray for a speedy recovery and good health. We are all so glad you are OK.

Chris Ksoll will forever be indebted to Judy Buckley for her assistance with nephew Austin’s “Fuzzy” project. Judy took Fuzzy around Hong Kong and then Nepal, providing Ms. Capalingua’s second-grade class with the most exciting and interesting Fuzzy adventure they could ever have. Judy has redefined the word “teamwork!”

John Bell left Ryan about six months ago, and is now developing projects for the publicly traded REIT, Kimco Realty. In addition to being a new partner, he is still an avid sailor and raced his own boat in the last Mac race. His boat came in 11th out of 23 boats in his class. Double congratulations to John!

Brian McInerney is running the sales department for a start-up called Digital Evolution, which produces Web services products. Look forward to hearing more, Mac.

Scott Flowers has been promoted to vice president and general manager at Owens Corning, and was also named a corporate officer. Way to go, Scott.

Karin Hensel is a certified K-8 teacher and is teaching special education students grades 6-8 at Incline Middle School of Lake Tahoe. She is making a difference.

Eric McAllister swears he will be a Texan forever. Yeeha!

Kevin Bingham is living in Minneapolis and working for Pfizer. Can’t wait to hear more, Kev. We know it’s great!
