Nedda Glenn EMP-37 and George A. Zahn Jr. married in August at the Harrison Manor House in Lake Bluff, Ill.

EMP-37

Hello EMP-37. We have a few updates for this issue. Nedda Glenn changed her name to Nedda Evangelista Zahn after marrying George A. Zahn Jr. at the Harrison Manor House in Lake Bluff, Ill., on Aug. 22. She can still be reached at ncentives@cs.com.

Art Handman gave the following job update: “On Dec. 15, I joined Energizer Holdings as group VP of sales for Energizer Battery Co., based in St. Louis, Mo. The five group directors and 28 people in my group control the profits for just under $1 billion in gross sales. In addition, batteries are sold basically everywhere, so my responsibilities include home center retailers such as Home Depot and Lowes, electronics retailers including Best Buy, and office supply stores like Office Depot, as well as the conventional mass, drug, food and C&G channels. This is a great career opportunity, a financially well-run organization, and a very nice group of people to work with.”

In early February, I received another update from Art: “Moved Pam and John here to St. Louis to temporary living just in time for two ice storms, two snowstorms, and a few days of single-digit temperatures. Given the intelligence I have demonstrated in moving from Florida back to the Midwest in January, it is a wonder that I ever got through Kellogg!” Art’s new work email is art.handman@energizer.com. His personal email continues to be ahandma@aol.com.

Your humble class representative, Bob Weeks, also moved in the middle of winter. Bob, his lovely wife, Leigh Thompson, and their wonderful children, Anna, Ray and Sam, have moved from icy, snowy Evanston to icy, snowy Winnetka. Hey Art, at least one end of your move was warm! Bob’s new email is bob@robertweeks.com.

That’s it for this issue. Please stay in touch!
