Kellogg alums on New Year's Eve
EMP-36 Team G members, from left, John Clouse, David Karpel and Paul Jachim, celebrate New Year's 2004 together in Charlotte, N.C. Since graduation, they have been together for five of the past seven New Year's celebrations. They plan to continue making it an annual event.

EMP-36

Congratulations to Margaret and Logan Otto, who were married in June. The ceremony was a small family gathering and everything went as planned. Logan and Margaret moved to Colorado in October, although Logan continues to commute to Nebraska to farm.

Chris Linn reports that he has taken a new position as chief marketing officer for STL Technology Partners. STL is headquartered in Bloomington, Ill., and provides IT staff outsourcing, networking, and software and Web development solutions. The transition from marketing insurance and financial services to IT products and services has been a welcome and rewarding change. He and Marybeth live in Bloomington, and are enjoying their new role as grandparents. His work email address is chris.linn@stltechpartner.com.

Chris Palmer sends word that he is doing well and still serves as VP of leadership and organizational development at Lafarge North America. He is enjoying his new home in Virginia, and has bought a new John Deere garden tractor to help with the landscaping.

In our last update we reported that John Crowell had left Harley Davidson in Milwaukee to acquire a Harley dealership in Las Vegas. Actually, John’s new dealership is in Reno. We apologize for the error, and if you’re in need of a Harley, please consider visiting John’s shop in Reno!

Mark and I continue to enjoy hearing from everyone. Please drop us a note when you have a chance. Best regards, Karen and Mark
