Kristi and Kurt Plumer welcomed Sophia (Sophie) Lea into the world Sept. 24. Four-year-old Ellie loves being a big sister (so far!) and is a big help to her parents. Kurt continues to work at Highland Capital in Dallas, and was recently named co-head of Highland’s distressed debt business. He can be reached at kplumer@hcmlp.com.

Sin-Hsin Tsai Lueth and Allen Lueth write from their new home in Shanghai: “We recently transferred here after five years in Taipei. We have a dream apartment in our dream location at a reasonable price. It’s on a quiet tree-lined street in the old French Concession area, overlooking the yards of Sung Tse Wen. (Sung Tse Wen was the richest person in China, whose three sisters married Dr. Sun Yet- San, Chiang Kai Shek and Kong Xiang Xi, all the most powerful persons at beginning of the 20th century.) We have a panoramic Shanghai City view, all the way to the Pearl Tower in Pu Xi. If you’re making a personal or business trip to Shanghai, please look us up!”

Eric Soderlund happily announces the birth of son Cole on July 10.
