Research Fellows
When you become a Kellogg Research Fellow, you become part of a community.
Kellogg offers an exciting opportunity for a limited number recent graduates to become Research Fellows. These are full-time staff positions that last either 1 or 2 years during which the Fellows gain hands-on experience working with our faculty on current research. These are excellent experiences for anyone preparing to apply to a PhD program in a discipline related to business research.
Kellogg provides Fellows with many resources for their professional and academic development. An important part of our academic community, they are encouraged to join reading groups, network with PhD students, and participate in the rich array of research seminars and guest speakers that take place at Kellogg and Northwestern. Many Fellows earn the opportunity to audit PhD-level field courses. Kellogg organizes panels on topics like PhD Admissions and PhD Life - and provides modest subsidies to help you manage the cost of applying to PhD programs. We also offer one-of-a-kind training on advanced computational techniques from the professional experts in our Research Support team.
Kellogg is committed to creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment. We invest in programs, partnerships, initiatives, and events that unleash the transformative power of diversity and inclusion in the Kellogg community. Thus, we encourage all people, regardless of background, to bring their unique contributions to our fellowship program. We are a proud charter member of the Pathways to Research and Doctoral Careers (PREDOC) consortium.
