The Dispute Resolution Research Center at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, is seeking applicants for our notable postdoctoral fellowship. The primary criterion for acceptance is research excellence relevant to conflict or cooperation, broadly defined. Salary is competitive, and the position will have access to research funds, including funding for independent projects. The position begins in September of each year and lasts for approximately two years.

Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in a social science discipline (e.g., organizational behavior, sociology, psychology, economics)—or in a related discipline that can inform the social sciences (e.g., a “big data” discipline)—prior to the beginning of the fellowship.

The fellow position will conduct original research with one or more faculty members at Kellogg. Learn about our current and past postdoctoral fellows here. As DRRC works closely with faculty in the management and organizations (MORS) department, applicants are encouraged to identify one or more MORS faculty members with whom they would be interested in collaborating. The fellow is expected to become actively involved in MORS and DRRC intellectual communities by regularly participating in colloquia, workshops, and research seminars. The fellow is also welcome to audit PhD courses.

For full consideration, please submit (1) a cover letter identifying at least one faculty member with whom you would be interested in collaborating; (2) a current CV; (3) a research statement that makes clear how your work is relevant to conflict or cooperation, and (4) up to two publications or manuscripts. You will also be asked to provide the name and contact information for 2–3 people who will submit recommendation letters on your behalf.
