A first step in expanding The Kellogg Shopper Index beyond the U.S. was taken in 2011 with a survey of the Winter Spending habits of consumers in Italy.

Professor Andrea Ordanini of the Università Bocconi (below) in Milan led the European team, which included Professor Lei Wang of Rutgers (PhD , Kellogg ’08) and marketing intelligence firm SymphonyIRI Group.
