Degree Enhancement Program

Degree Enhancement Program

When you graduate with your Kellogg MBA, you will be equipped with a strong academic background and finely honed practical skills. It has been Kellogg’s philosophy that education and professional development are part of a life-long learning process. We hope that when students graduate from Kellogg they will continue learning. To that end, the Degree Enhancement Program (DEP) allows you to take up to six (6) Kellogg course credits, free of charge, in the three academic years following your graduation. It is an excellent opportunity to explore a new interest, pursue an extra major, and develop your skills.

Registration is performed by the Academic Experience Team. Students who have graduated will receive an email communication at their preferred email address on file with the Alumni Office approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the start of the quarter.  Students must complete this registration request form, starting on December 4, 2024 at 12pm to indicate their interest in courses based on the quarterly list of available courses (coming soon!).

  • Students may begin taking DEP classes the following quarter after the degree is completed and conferred.
  • Courses may be taken during the current academic year in which they complete their degree requirements (if completion occurs prior to summer quarter) and through three academic years following graduation from Kellogg.
  • DEP participants will be allowed to enroll in open-seat classes after all Kellogg degree-seeking students have registered.
  • Students in the DEP program do not participate in the Bidding and Registration process. They will be registered manually by the Academic Experience team, and registration will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
