Strategic Co-chair
Tricia Calkins

Tricia is a first-year student at the Kellogg School of Management, and is hoping to major in Managing Organizations and Strategy. At Kellogg, Tricia is involved with the Strategy & Business Development Club, Women's Business Association, and Kellogg Paws (puppies, yay!). Tricia grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio, and received her A.B. in Sociology from Harvard. After college, Tricia spent five years working in the horse racing industry - she has lived and worked in Ireland, England, Australia and Dubai. Most recently, she was the Director of Corporate Development for the New York Racing Association. Tricia is passionate about women's issues, and has written papers and delivered presentations on women in male-dominated industries like horse racing. After Kellogg, Tricia hopes to pursue a career in Strategy at a pet-tech company.

Jacci Jeffries

Jacci Jeffries is a first-year student at the Kellogg School of Management who intends to major in Marketing and Managing Organizations with a focus in Health Enterprise Management. In addition to the Women's Leadership Workshop, Jacci is a reader for the Kellogg Student Admissions Commitee (STAC) and is a first-year Academics Director for the Kellogg Black Management Association. Jacci grew up in White Plains, NY and received her B.S.E. in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. After college, she spent 4 years working for Accenture as a consultant in their Digital Practice focusing on large scale system integrations and patient services initatives in the Life Sciences industry. After Kellogg, she hopes to pursue a career in markering and innovation in the healthcare industry.

Charity Hemphill-Frierson

Charity is a first -year student at the Kellogg School of Management who intends to major in Finance and Strategy. In addition to the Women's Leadership Workshop, she is a first year director for the Public Policy Club and Women's Business Association. Though Charity has lived across the South and Midwest, she is a native Texan, and her family has been there for seven generations. She completed her undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University where she double majored in Communicaton Studies and Spanish. Her pre-Kellogg experience spans the private, social, and public sectors and allowed her to work at fantastic organizations that include Google, KIPP: Austin Public Schools, and the Indianapolis Mayor's Office of Education Innovation. Post Kellogg, Charity intends to transition into strategy consulting and return to Texas.

Makeeda Kefale

Makeda is a first-year student at the Kellogg School of Management who intends to major in Marketing and Managing Organizations. In addition to the Women's Leadership Workshop, she is on the executive teams of Day at Kellogg (DAK), the Black Management Association, and Kellogg Cares. Makeda grew up outside Washington, DC, and earned her BA in English and History at the University of Pennsylvania. After Penn, she moved back to DC and spent eight years working in marketing strategy for the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, a media/advertising trade group. Makeda plans to move into brand management after Kellogg - and hopefully head back to the East Coast!

Ashley Carrick

Ashley is a first-year student at the Kellogg School of Management who intends to major in Strategy and Marketing. In addition to the Women's Leadership Workshop, she is involved with Hispanic Management Association, the High Tech Club and the Buddhism and Zen Club. Ashley was born and raised in downtown Chicago. She attended UC Berkeley where she earned her degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business. After undergrad, Ashley moved to New York and worked as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs. After a couple of years, she transitioned to a financial analyst role at Google and focused her spare time on driving diversity initiatives for Google. After Kellogg, Ashley hopes to work in strategy or marketing at a tech start-up.

Natalie Linsalata

Natalie is a first-year student at the Kellogg School of Management who intends to major in Operations and Finance. In addition to the Women's Leadership Workshop, she is a director for the Private Equity and Venture Capital Club and the Women's Business Association. Natalie is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Duke University where she earned a BS in Econoimcs and a minor in French. After undergrad, Natalie moved to Chicago, where she worked in investment banking for three years at Lincoln International. She transitioned onto the investment team at a middle market private equity firm, Sterling Partners, for two years before coming to Kellogg.

Jamie McAdoo

Jamie McAdoo is a first year student at the Kellogg School of Management, who intends to major in Managing Organizations with a focus on Health Enterprise Management. In addition to her role as Operations Co-Chair for the Women’s Leadership Workshop, she is an Admissions Tour Guide, Charity Auction Ball committee member, and a cast member of Special K. Jamie received her Bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business from Florida State University and then worked in management consulting, primarily in NYC and the West coast. Most recently, Jamie built the Compliance department at Options Clearing Corporation, an options and futures market utility based in Chicago. After Kellogg, Jamie hopes to pursue a career in Healthcare management.

Sayoko Oguma

Sayoko Oguma is a first year student at the Kellogg School of Management, who intends to major in Finance and Managing Organizations with a focus on Health Enterprise Management. In addition to her role as Operations Co-Chair for the Women’s Leadership Workshop, she is a band member of Special K. Sayoko received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Adminisration from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan and then worked in public accounting for 7 years, primarily in Atlanta. She is passionate about diversity issues and launched Diversity Committee at her previous workplace. After Kellogg, Sayoko hopes to pursue a career in a leadership program in healthcare industry.

 Maria is a first-year student at the Kellogg School of Management who intends to major in Marketing and Managing Organizations. In addition to the Women's Leadership Workshop, she is Director of Professional Development for the Hispanic Management Association, a member of the Kellogg Marketing Club, Kellogg's Impact Consulting Club and Inner-City Mentoring Club. Maria grew up in Newark, NJ and received a B.A. in American Studies and Economics from Yale. After college, Maria spent 5 years in New York City, most recently working in Market Research for Nielsen as an on-client consultant for Unilever. After Kellogg, Maria looks to pursue brand marketing- managing and developing global brands!

Adanna Ukah

Adanna Ukah is a first year student at the Kellogg School of Management who intends to major in Strategy. In addition to her work on the Women’s Leadership Workshop, she is a Kellogg Board Fellow, a Director for Education Club, and a member of the Black Management Association. After graduating from Yale with a degree in Political Science, Adanna worked in education—first for a technology startup focused on managing transitions between K-12 and higher ed, and later for non-profit that connected MBA candidates and professionals to management roles in education. Adanna intends to transition to strategy consulting after Kellogg, though her long-term view is centered on public education.

Jillian Fishman is a first-year student at the Kellogg School of Management with intended majors in Marketing and Managing Organizations. She attended Brown University for her undergraduate degree, concentrating in International Relations. Jillian started her career in management consulting in Washington, DC and New York, NY. Most recently, she worked at Reputation Institute, where she focused on corporate reputation and brand strategy. In addition to the Women’s Leadership Workshop, Jillian helped plan the annual Kellogg Ski Trip and serves as a Kellogg Board Fellow. In fact, prior to pursuing her MBA, Jillian attended the Women’s Leadership Workshop in the spring of 2013 – and can’t be more excited to take a leadership role in developing the next generation of female leaders!

Vivian Lee is a first-year student at the Kellogg School of Management with intended majors in Strategy and Marketing.
