India
Kellogg’s alumni community in India has been expanding steadily in recent years. To help build upon our past traction and strengthen our India presence going forward, we have brought on board a new leadership team. I would like to take this opportunity to formally introduce and welcome the new managing committee of the Kellogg Alumni Club of India (KACI). Please join me in congratulating our new officers, with whom I look forward to collaborating with on our India efforts:
Vice President: Harsh Kohli ’08 (Pune)
Treasurer: Prerak Sethi ’09 (Delhi)
Secretary: Tunir Chatterjee ’04 (Mumbai)
Assistant Secretary: Kunjal Modi ’08 (Mumbai)
We also have kicked off a series of events in the past couple months, including alumni mixers in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai. We had a great turnout of alumni across all locations. In Bangalore, we had a cross b-school mixer, where more than 60 alums from Kellogg, HBS, Stanford, Tuck and the University of Chicago were in attendance. We also completed a series of admissions events, which were hosted by Dean Michele Rogers. As for upcoming initiatives, we are planning a national alumni event in December to welcome over a dozen Kellogg faculty during their first-ever GIM trip to India. The event will be held in Delhi.
Our team is focused on strengthening our India presence. If you reside in or frequently visit India, I hope you will find ways to get involved with our initiatives. By doing so, I am confident that our club will serve as a great resource for professional networking, reconnecting with former classmates and building new friendships. While we are in the process of updating our India club website (kelloggindia.com), a great way to stay connected with our efforts is through our Facebook group. If you have not done so already, please locate “Kellogg Alumni Club of India” on Facebook to join. If your travels bring you to India, please do get in touch. We would love to welcome you!
