You are invited to the Purple Tie Affair, the second annual celebration of our Kellogg Alumni network in Chicago and hosted by the Kellogg Alumni Club of Chicago. It takes place from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28 at The Peninsula Hotel in downtown Chicago.
Celebrating our strong Kellogg alumni network here in Chicago, we encourage your creativity in donning a purple tie for men and a purple dress or accessories for women (it’s a black tie optional event). Come solo or bring your significant other for a gala evening of reconnecting or developing new relationships with your fellow alumni. The evening will include a premium open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, Hong Kong stir fries, Italian pasta stations and passed desserts. We invite all Kellogg alumni to join us in growing this new and exciting post-holiday tradition. The cost is $150 per person.
The Peninsula Hotel, 108 E. Superior St., Chicago, Ill., is also offering a discount rate of $285 for those Purple Tie attendees who would like to stay at the hotel for the night of the event.
