Brazil
In August, Dean Sally Blount’s ’92 visit drew a record crowd of local alumni (with more than 70 Brazilians present), who were happy to hear of Brazil’s increasing importance in Kellogg’s global plans. Present in her entourage was Dean Don Jacobs. It was also Professsor Paul Christensen’s third event in São Paulo. We will soon be honoring him as an honorary paulistano as well as warning him of the tax implications of a fourth visit.
We have refreshed the KAC board, which has lowered its median age without dropping the enthusiasm level even one notch. We hope to see you at our monthly happy hours and our now-traditional events, such as the end-of-year lunch, informal get-togethers with freshly accepted MBA candidates (where we talk them out of commiting to rival schools over beers) and dinners with visiting Global Initiatives in Management participants.
