	New mom Purvi Doraiswamy EMP-76 with baby Leela

Leela Amarise Doraiswamy was born June 10 to Purvi Doraiswamy and her husband, Vijay. They love being parents and are enjoying every day.

Jason Aiken was promoted to chief financial officer of Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, headquartered in Savannah, Ga.

In July, Matt Kulasa began an assignment in Manchester, U.K. as financial controller of Eurasia for Joy Global in their underground mining business.

Several EMPers traveled to California to attend the Pithi ceremony and celebrate the wedding of Javed Panjwani EMP-73. Included in the festivities were: Shawn Misquitta EMP-73, Elizabeth Pattara EMP-78, Tracey Moon EMP-74, Javed Panjwani EMP-73, Jeremy Faust EMP-73, Julie Buxton and Bernadette “Bernie” Bert, our beloved former assistant dean of Kellogg.
