Robert (Rob) Milburn sends in this update: “We retired to what had been our vacation home on Squaw Lake in the fall of 2008. I serve on the Town Lakes committee of our town with a focus on protecting our waters from aquatic invasive species and on the zoning committee. Besides honing my fishing skills, I am working on restoring a 100-year-old log cabin and trying to keep up with my wife Marlys’ reading list. We have a 120 pound Newfoundland dog which keeps us moving and enjoy hiking and snowshoeing in the area. Russ Luedtke and Denise Guardino met for lunch in Naperville on Sept. 27. Russ was in town continuing a Route 66 trip and car show in St Louis and gave Denise a call on the spur of the moment.
