Part-Time Class of 2010, hope everyone is doing well! Here are the latest updates from our classmates:
Steve Kovacs was promoted to general manager at A.M. Castle, a supplier of specialty metals products and customized supply chain solutions. He and wife Jenn will relocate to Dallas, where he will manage the company’s oil and gas division. Jenn will return to Chicago to complete the final stage of the Executive Scholar program in Kellogg’s Center for Nonprofit Management in 2011.
Tim Brumbaugh says hello: “Last October, I moved to Detroit to join GM Ventures, a newly formed venture capital arm of General Motors. On Dec. 16, my wife Monica gave birth to our lovely first daughter, Norah Lee Brumbaugh. We are all doing well and miss the Kellogg crew.”
Look for Cindy Chiang and her fiance on a new adventure on “The Amazing Race” on CBS!
Sandhya Ehle shares: “My husband David and I welcomed our little boy, James Krishna Ehle, on June 20. He is just a joy to be around and keeps us busy! I returned to work in the data covernance department at U.S. Cellular after completing my maternity leave.”
In July, Anthony J. Algmin joined West Monroe Partners as a senior consultant with their business intelligence practice.
News from Ari Dolgin: “After nine years of trading futures, I have decided to make a career switch into something more creative and exciting. In early 2011, my partner and I founded a mobile game development company, called DR Games LLC. We are in the process of developing our first game for the iPhone/iPad which is expected to be released by Jan. 1. The Android version will follow shortly after. We have recently expanded and are now working with two programmers, an illustrator and two sound effects engineers, as well as countless others across the country. We’ve been working day and night for months, and I couldn’t be happier with our progress.
“I also have some other exciting news! On April 5, my wife gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sydney Charlotte Dolgin. She is amazing in every possible way. She is literally growing by the second, and seems to have an endless appetite. (I’m pretty sure she gets that from me!) She is easily amused and her laughter is contagious. Get ready, Kellogg. She has her heart set on the class of 2038!”
