Law is the brand manager for the specialty beauty channel at P&G, and has realized that he now knows more about shampoo, styling products, deodorant, skin care and razors than any one person should. He notes, “Although I miss the ridiculously cheap rent in Cincinnati, I am excited to live in downtown Chicago where culinary experiences are plentiful, craft beers are overflowing and sports bars are jam-packed.” He looks forward to catching up and hanging out with Kellogg classmates, and he recently met up with Special K! alums, including Micah Murphy, Glenn Pappalardo, Beth Wherry Pappalardo, John Wilbeck and Cheryl Wilbeck, Jay Choi and Johanna White. Eddie notes, “Hopefully this will turn into some free babysitting for daughter Lucy (2).” Eddie remains at boutique real estate firm, Rockwell Partners. While the Meders are sad to say goodbye to friends in Chicago, they are looking forward to the next chapter in D.C., not to mention the warmer weather at a lower lattitude.

He has also been busy developing a new company, Next Oncology, which will propogate freestanding radiosurgery centers in other states. He hopes to announce a couple of new centers before year-end.

Ashley Hartmann Kline and Jeff Kline welcomed their daughter Eliot Genevieve on July 14 in Chicago. Ashley went into labor after a boisterous night on the town at Medieval Times in Schaumburg (it was their nephew’s 8th birthday). We are employing lots of knowledge we acquired in business school, especially the ‘newsboy problem.’ Always mix more formula than you think you’ll need!”

Alex reports: “We left the city that never sleeps, to never sleep in a city that we love! We look forward to raising our growing family here. Everyone’s doing great. As an additional plus, it’s been fun reconnecting with a lot of Kellogg folks in the area. We’ve enjoyed barbecues, sporting events and housewarmings. Also, I just joined a fantasy football league with a number of ‘07 Kellogg alums, organized by commissioner Amit Singla. I look forward to gloating about my championship in the next Class Notes.”
