Chris McClure has assumed a new role as director in charge of the Chicago litigation and forensic accounting practice of Crowe Horwath, an international accounting and consulting firm. Chris lives in the suburb of La Grange with his wife, Dr. Stacy McClure and two children, Evey (4) and Nicholas (4 mos.).

From Kathryn Aiken: “A lot has happened since graduation. I spent three years in Yokohama, Japan, as an human resources director for an FMCG company. Then after several years in global HR roles implementing major change initiatives, I relocated to Shanghai, China, as vice president of human resources for Asia for Johnson Controls. The pace of change in China is second to none. I am looking forward to connecting with the Kellogg Alumni Club in Shanghai.”

Charlie Pick updates: “I regularly read Kellogg World and am saddened by the lack of updates from our small but honorable group of purple MBAs. So I thought it was high time to be part of the solution and write a brief update. On the work front, commercial real estate brokerage in the Chicago area is keeping me on my toes. The commercial market remains challenging, but now more than ever, clients need good advice for their businesses. I’ve been working a lot lately with investors buying distressed assets at lovely prices. In fact, my wife Jackie and I were fortunate to find a beautiful foreclosure property in Northfield, Ill., where we live with our twin boys Jackson and Logan (3).

“We miss the bustle of our West Loop loft, but enjoy the tranquility and community of our new digs. Schools here are excellent. I continue to manage a number of investment partnerships in southern Costa Rica as the vacation property market slowly recovers. It’s a nice place to visit for business to be sure. That’s about all for now. Don’t be shy, people. Tell us what you’re up to. Otherwise, fellow grads will start calling us ‘The Mute Program.’”

Rich Baudo enters his fifth year as national sales manager at Comcast Spotlight Chicago, the ad sales division of Comcast Cable. His current focus has been rolling out new advertising platforms, including interactive TV ads, and new opportunities with Xfinity.com. Rich lives in Chicago with his wife Kerry and their two boys, Nolan (6) and Parker (1). As a part of the Comcast Cares outreach initiative, Rich led and completed a project to refurbish and provide new technology for GiGi’s Playhouse Chicago, a Down Syndrome awareness center whose mission is to empower individuals with Down Syndrome, their families and their communities.
