Chris Murphy reports that he and his colleagues sold their company, Pipal Research Corporation, to a unit of Standard & Poor’s in December. Following the sale, Chris joined private equity firm Valor Equity Partners in Chicago in June.

Stacy Karel and Dr. Joseph Hahn were married in Chicago on May 21. Stacy is a real estate agent with @properties and Joseph is employed by Merck Animal Health. The wedding was attended by fellow students Mary Judd Hazen and JoAnn Yeksigian. The couple honeymooned in France and reside in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood. Stacy is now a proud stepmom to Connor (12) and Davis (7).
