Hi everyone. This summer, I managed to catch up with Mike Docherty. You can find him on LinkedIn. He’s got a ton going on: running an innovation consulting business, managing a mobile technology co-creation business in Cincinnati and working as an officer with a Venture Capital firm in Greenwich, Conn. Mike lives in Boca Raton. Mike Wapner and I joined Mike D. for drinks and dinner. I “watched” Mike W. turn 50 at a joint party he hosted for himself and wife Leng, who also turned 50. Daughters Julia and Anna helping serve. Since I had a triathlon the next day, I had to skip a delicious spread of beers. Although I did enjoy carbo-loading on pasta!

Connected up with Gary Cohen on LinkedIn. Gary’s been President/CEO of Timex since January and is thoroughly enjoying it. I’m a customer — fitness watches. As you can imagine, it’s lots of travel to India, China, Philippines, Switzerland, Netherlands and Italy to name a few. Gary’s working to keep the watch market alive and well. People are wearing watches to get the best of style and function.  

David Wright was recognized on “America’s Top 1,000 Advisors: State-by-State” list in the February 21 issue of Barron’s magazine. This is the third consecutive year David has been recognized for his accomplishments on this list. David is a Merrill Lynch private wealth advisor.
