Myron Miller ’53 authored The Soul of a Soldier: The True Story of a Mounted Pioneer in the Civil War. Myron comments: “The book is based on the 46 letters that my then 42-year-old great grandfather wrote to his wife during the Petersburg Campaign from 1864-1865. Michael Graft ’58 is still going strong at 77 as president of MJ Graft Development Corp. in Barrington, Ill. He writes: “I’m having too much fun to retire. Our son Michael, who graduated from Northwestern in 1990, has an allied business. We have been synergetic for many years.
