Alex De Melo accepted an offer for a new position in Motorola, managing the deployment of Motorola services to carriers in Latin America and also leading the development of processes and tools to improve the deployment of Motorola services worldwide. Alex and his family have relocated to the Bay Area.

Heather Crist temporarily relocated to Miami while serving as division president for Wells Fargo’s Latin American business.
Wesley Edward Pierson was born in September at 7 pounds, 7 ounces. Best wishes to Devon and Ed Pierson.

Matt Bakker is director of sales and marketing at Teledyne Storm Products.

Than Hartsock accepted a new position with John Deere as national sales manager, mass channel (this means he is in charge of sales to Home Depot and Lowe’s). He and his family have relocated to Raleigh, N.C.

Lots of news from the Smith family! Sharon and Jeff Smith welcomed their new daughter, Bridget Rose, on Aug. 19. And Jeff is moving to the office of investments at the Smithsonian, with a focus on private equity and real assets.

Chris Rittenmeyer joined McKinsey & Company as an associate principal in the Chicago office, where he advises clients on strategic topics in sales, operations, technology and mergers and acquisitions. He continues to live in Dallas and Fort Lauderdale.
