2008 — Part-Time
Jason Miller founded a Chicago software startup called ThumbSight.com to create business applications for iPhones, iPads and other mobile devices. Their first app is called ThumbIQ and is designed for sales and marketing teams in the CPG and consumer products industries.

Craig LeMoyne and Kathryn Mackle ’10 were married in Katie’s hometown of Peterborough, Ontario, on Aug. 21. The pair met at a Kellogg networking event in May 2008, and it was love at first sight. Further proof that Kellogg is more than just a place to get a top-notch MBA! After a two-week honeymoon in France, Craig and Katie continue to live in Chicago.
Mark Papazian and wife Angela (Seitz) are pleased to announce the birth of their son, Jacob James. Jacob was born Sept. 18 at 8:01 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 5 ounces. Mark enjoyed his finance classes at Kellogg so much that he opted to join United Airlines in their financial analysis group shortly after graduation. He was promoted to senior associate and is engaged in a variety of interesting projects. Angela elected to join IBM in the summer of 2008 on the sales and distribution team. She is a client executive in the manufacturing industry and is responsible for delegating and managing IBM teams from project inception to implementation.
Avinash Patel and wife Bela welcomed their second child, a boy, over the summer. The growing family also moved back to Chicago from New York, as Nash joined the UBS Chicago investment banking group.
Jacqi Coleman and her husband Jay welcomed their first daughter on March 22. Claire Lucille (6 months) got her first tooth in late September.
Vikas Murthy accepted a promotion as a product manager of online tools at Discover Financial Services. In his new role, Vikas will be responsible for leading a team focused on the growing usage of Discover’s credit-score monitoring products and personal financial tools while bringing new products to market that can help customers improve their credit standing. His team is responsible for P&L management, new product development, cross-channel marketing and budgeting and forecasting
Tanveer Kapadia has gone entrepreneur after a two-year stint in Boston Consulting Group’s Mumbai office. He started his own company, Trivium Education Services, based in India. Work obligations often bring him to the U.S. and he always looks forward to catching up with Kellogg friends.
Dana Mueller transferred with Harrah’s to New Orleans, where she will be the director of marketing services.
Bonnie H. Chan was elected president of the board of directors at Between Friends. She has been collaborating with Judge Grace Dickler at the Circuit Court of Cook County and Assistant Professor Michele Weldon at Northwestern University to continue driving the agency’s mission of ending domestic violence. On the work front, Bonnie continues her career at Sara Lee, where she is a director of finance. Her latest assignment is supporting M&A projects in corporate development.
Parthiv Sheth and wife Krupa are excited to announce the arrival of Anya Krupa Sheth, who was born earlier this summer. Both mom and daughter are doing well.
Simon Goodall continues to find opportunities in his job as senior vice president at World Travel Holdings and would happily buy a drink for anyone who makes it out to the Boston area.
