Births: Brian Irwin writes: “My wife Shannon and I are excited to announce the birth of our daughter, Everleigh Maeve Irwin, who was born June 29. Everyone is doing great. We are still living in Chicago, where Everleigh has entertained many Kellogg friends. I am still working at McDonald’s, doing marketing in our new product development group.”

Michelle Reyes Aleti and Sasank are thrilled to introduce their first child, Mira Isabel Aleti, to the Kellogg community. Mira arrived Dec. 13, 2009 (just in time for the holidays) and enjoyed a beautiful Boston summer with Mom and Dad! Michelle returned to work as a brand manager at Procter & Gamble and Sasank continues to work in private equity. Mom and Dad were excited to bring Mira to her first Kellogg reunion in Vermont on Labor Day weekend.

Ruben Lupianez announces a new Kelloggian in the family! Daughter Natalia was born on June 7.

Steve Windfeldt writes: “Molly and I welcomed our son Ryder Jerome Windfeldt on July 20. Mom and baby are happy and healthy.”

Gil Horsky writes: “Tina and I had a very exciting summer. We were thrilled to welcome our first child, Ella Edith Horsky, to the world on July 18. In addition to that, after six wonderful years in Chicago, we relocated in September to Zurich. In Switzerland, I took a global marketing and innovation role in the chocolate category with Kraft Foods. We are excited to be in Europe and please do let us know if you are ever in the Zurich area.”

Marriage: Melissa Lynn married Scott Kaeser (SESP ’00) on Oct. 16 in Scottsdale, Ariz. A contingent of 30 Kellogg alums participated in the weekend festivities, which included a Western-themed BBQ (of course, the Kellogg guests embraced the opportunity to wear costumes!). The couple met as undergrads at Northwestern.

Other fun stuff, updates: Adam Scott writes: “I accepted a new job and moved with my family — Rachel, Max (3) and Liza (1) — to the Boston area. I am the senior director of payer solutions at Proventys, a healthcare technology company. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with Kellogg alums in the Boston area!”

David Wittkowsky writes: “In late September, Megan Schmitt King and I enjoyed an unexpected reunion at the Union Square Hilton in San Francisco. Megan is still with Bank of America in Charlotte, N.C., and has taken a new position in online marketing. I also ran into Andrew Hwang last month at LaGuardia. Andrew is with Citadel, an asset management, securities and IT firm based in Chicago. I’m still with Take Care Health Systems, where I’m regional vice president for the Northeast.”

Continuing with her passion for marketing and green technology, Sonita Lontoh accepted a director of marketing position with Grid Net Inc. Grid Net is a global provider of the first and only universal operating system for the smart grid of the future. She writes, “To all Kelloggians who visit or live in San Francisco, give us a shout, we would love to hear from you!”
