Christophe Segalini and wife Maité have spent some (too few!) days of vacation in Provence, in the south of France. They were accompanied by son Louis (some of you may remember him joining his parents for the KSM Saturday dance events at the age of 4 or so!) who also took a break before heading back to college for his junior year.

Kymm (Bartlett) Pollack and husband Scott ’96 moved to Mexico City with their daughter Caroline in 2008 so that Kymm could take a position with Cereal Partners Worldwide, the joint venture between General Mills and Nestle. Kymm is the marketing director for Latin America/Caribbean and absolutely loves it. The whole family has settled in really well. Caroline (5) attends a British school, which has 52 nationalities represented across the grades. She has many international friends and possesses the best Spanish accent in the family. Scott agreed to leave his consulting business for the adventure south of the border and has managed to release his inner Latino. His naturally outgoing personality and genuine interest in everything Mexican have led to many family adventures. The family isn’t sure exactly how much time they have left before General Mills will recall them to Minneapolis, but they are not anxious to leave. Please let them know if anyone will be traveling to Mexico City, as they would be thrilled to help you explore their new city.

Katie Brick and her partner, Sarah, are proud parents to Jack and Maggie Brick, born Jan. 26. Katie tries to update Facebook with pictures of the kids and thanks all her Kellogg friends for their support in the wake of the twins’ birth — and for showers and advice beforehand. She’s still working in interfaith ministry at DePaul University, so give her a shout if you visit Chicago.

Michael Payne has gone full circle over the last three years and returned to Hague, having spent a year on Whidbey Island, Wash., and a year in London. After almost eight years with Shell WindEnergy, he is taking some time off to settle the family and figure out the next steps, which will likely be in the renewable energy space. In the meantime, he is enjoying his kids, Dutch classes and working on smart-grid and efficiency issues with fellow Kellogg alum Raj Maholtra ’02.

David Popler, wife Beth, and son Luke welcomed baby Grace to the family in June. She is very sweet and doing great. He comments, “All of you guys with kids in high school can get your laughs in now. Two kids under two ... yes, lots of diapers, chaos and fun.” In job news, David joined ZoomSystems this year as senior vice president of sales. Zoom (in downtown San Francisco) does automated retail, so when you see those robotic Best Buy shops in the airport, please buy something!

Scott Davis accepted the position of president at Essential Home OTCs, LLC. The company makes SymptomPak (symptompak.com), a new cold and flu product that allows consumers to customize their therapy to their specific symptoms. By using single-ingredient medications and educating customers on how to correctly administer their treatment, SymptomPak offers an alternative to all of the multi-symptom cough, cold and flu medicines on the market.

Mariana and Luis Giolo hosted a pizza evening at their house in Sao Paulo, Brasil, in October, when Jon and Alex Magin were visiting from San Diego. Also in attendance were Mario Spinola Castro ’96, Claudio Sanchez ’96, Ani (Alvarez) Spinola Castro, Antonio Poubel and Vladi and Kristen (Dykma) Barbieri — plus they had all of their nine kids join in the pizza-making too!

Derek Gerow and Pam (Hyde) Gerow have been living in Dallas since graduation. Pam is at home with their four children, Grace (11), Jack (9), Ellie (4) and Anna (1). Derek is a partner with Bain & Company and was asked to manage their global airline and travel practice. Derek loves his work and has been with Bain since graduating from Kellogg. Life is very busy in the Gerow house, but they still welcome all visitors passing through the DFW area.

Alex ’97 and Jon Magin met up for dinner at “Brasil a Gosto” in Sao Paulo, Brazil with Paula and Zeca ’98 Alcantara and Cris and Ale Correa ’98
