Kellogg World Winter 2010

1995 — Part-Time

Erin Kaese reports that their healthy lifestyle media company re-launched its travel portal in July. Athleticmindedtraveler.com provides business travelers looking to maintain their healthy lifestyles while away from home with access to thousands of recommendations for hotels, places to work out, eat and more in over 100 destinations. This past year, the company provided all Kellogg graduates a free annual membership, which they hope to continue for next year’s grads! On a personal note, her daughter just started at a new school.

Tim and Elizabeth Lester welcomed their fifth child, Christina, in September. Christina’s older sister Elise (9) and her older brothers John (8), Mark (8) and Timmy (6), were all excited to welcome her home. The family resides in Pleasanton, Calif., where Tim works as vice president of finance for Bridgelux and Elizabeth manages the busy Lester household.

Joe Meyer is wondering where 15 years have gone (aren’t we all?!?). He is still in Indianapolis, where he and his wife are occupied with the rewards of raising four grade-school-aged kids. After a failed 18-month adventure licensing health clinical data exchange technology from a local university, he finds himself back in the corporate world as COO of Biomedicines Diagnostics at Eli Lilly and Company. He rounds out his life with active work in his church and running occasional road races and marathons (including the extremely hot 2007 Chicago event).

Mark Watzke has had a very eventful year. Professionally, he transferred from Eagle River, Alaska, to BP’s Houston office when he assumed a new job as head of control for E&P corporate groups. On the personal front, his oldest daughter (Sarah), a junior at Boise State, was married in May and his second oldest daughter (Emily) started her freshman year at Texas A&M. His three youngest daughters (Maggie, Becca and Audrey) are now in ninth grade, sixth grade and pre-school respectively.
