Christopher (Chris) Kane has spent more than 26 years in healthcare management consulting. He writes: “I was with several firms, including 13 years at KPMG as a partner in the national strategy practice. In January 2008, I was offered a newly created position at WellStar Health System as senior vice president of strategic business development. WellStar is the largest health system in Georgia, with five hospitals, 300-plus employed physicians and more than 11,000 employees. My original career goal was to work in healthcare administration. It’s fun and challenging every day. My wife and I have three children and live in Lilburn, Ga.”
Peter L. Cella writes: After seeing no entries from classmates in the summer issue, I had to contribute something. I joined BASF in 2006 after nearly 25 years with BP/Amoco. I am responsible for BASF’s North American petrochemicals business. I commute from the Chicago area to my office in Houston weekly, racking up those airline miles. I also had to write after reading that nice piece on Joe Gutman. Great story, Joe.”
