The Kellogg Executive Women's Network continues to grow each year through ongoing efforts to reach out to more and more alums. It is now one of the largest alumni groups at Kellogg. The KEWN leadership organizes events and networking opportunities for alumnae and Kellogg students in the Chicago area.
In recent months, several alumnae gathered for educational, social and networking events including an evening with award-winning Professor Brian Uzzi who presented his lecture "Build the Network, BE the Network," an examination of how individuals can enrich one another by building and being part of a diverse personal and professional network. The spring months included well-attended networking events at the Artisan Cellars in the Merchandise Mart and Fulton's on the River where alums from all of the Kellogg programs had a chance to catch up with classmates and meet new colleagues and friends. KEWN members also enjoyed spending summer evenings with friends during social events at the First Folio Shakespeare Festival and Ravinia.
There has been a tremendous response from KEWN members who have attended the popular monthly Women's Business Association Dinner series that gathers a group of current full-time Kellogg students and two KEWN alumnae for dinner to discuss careers and board service, among other subjects. Thanks to all KEWN members who have already volunteered and who will participate in this year's dinners.
