EMP-65

Jeff Datkuliak was inducted into the Kent State University Athletic Hall of Fame in the spring for winning three conference titles while wrestling there in '89, '90, '91.

Michael Price was promoted from business team and world manufacturing controller DSM Desotech to CFO of DSM Valley Research. The promotion is bittersweet as he had to leave the Chicago area and move to South Bend, Ind. The sweet part is that he's excited to be part of the growing bio-ingredients market. The bitter part is that he has been told that he will be converted into a Notre Dame fan!

Michael Chachula was promoted from the vice president of strategy and development to SVP of human resources PMO at HSBC North America.

Chuck Haling participated in two triathlons this summer. He is busy with his new job as vice president of sales for MSDSonline.

Traci Izzo vacationed in Winter Park, Colo., this summer with her family and tried her hand at rock climbing.

Kevin Knutsen took a three-year assignment in Nanjing, China, as general manager for Stepan's Asia operations. He and his family moved in July and are settling in nicely. Check out the family's blog at theknutsensinchina.blogspot.com. Kevin celebrated his 44th birthday in August.
